Thank you for visiting! I started blogging back in 2010 as a way to keep me inspired, energized, and to encourage me to create something new on a daily basis. Now after more than five years, i'm simplifying things and using this newly designed space as an area to chronicle travel and major life events (with a few home/wedding projects thrown in) instead of every day musings. Now a little more about me. I grew up on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon (after moving from San Jose, CA when I was about 7). I have a baby sister, a large combined family with a varied cast of characters, the best friends I could ask for, an amazing husband, and an adorable pup. I spent some time in Ashland and Corvallis going to school for graphic design, before finally settling in beautiful Bend, Oregon in January 2013. (Interested in what to do in Bend, Oregon? I met Pat (the hubs) when I was a freshman in college, and the rest as they say, is history. You can read all about the beginning of our relationship here. In 2014 we purchased our first home, and on July 25th, 2015 we finally tied the knot two days after our ten year anniversary. A week after our honeymoon in Europe we adopted an adorable and rambunctious french bulldog puppy named Augustus "Auggie" von Stinkerbottom (@adventuresofauggieboy) and we couldn't be happier.
